Basic Knowledge about bit, byte
A bit (short for binary digit) is the smallest unit of data in a computer. A bit has a single binary value, either 0 or 1. Although computers usually provide instructions that can test and manipulate bits, they generally are designed to store data and execute instructions in bit multiples called bytes.
In most computer systems there are eight bits in a byte.

The value of a bit is usually stored as either above or below a designated level of electrical charge in a single capacitor within a memory device.
A bit is a small electrical switch which is either on (value 1) or off (value 0).
However bits don't exist individually but in groups of 8 and that is a byte. So one Kilobyte
of RAM = 1024 bytes or 8192 bits.
All CPUs  have instructions to manipulate bits, such as rotating or shifting bits left or right in RAM or in a Register.

About Resolution
The display resolution of a digital television or display device is the number of distinct pixels in each dimension that can be displayed.
You can say," resolution concepts is a dimensions of digital images  or  pixels".

The term “display resolution” is usually used to mean pixel dimensions (e.g., 1024×768), which does not tell anything about the resolution of the display on which the image is actually formed. In digital measurement the display resolution would be given in pixels per inch other hand you can say, DPI (depth per inches).

PHOTOSHOP CS 4 (Brush-options)
Luminosity (brush tool-options-luminosity): luminosity is the term used incorrectly to refer to the luma component of a color image signal; that is, a weighted sum of the nonlinear red, green, and blue signals.
luminosity is sometimes incorrectly used to refer to luminance, which is the density of luminous intensity.

Behind (brush tool-options-behind): The Behind paint mode, which is not found in the Layer blend modes, only works on layers with either transparent or partially transparent areas. The color that you're painting with only shows through on areas that are transparent or translucent, giving the illusion that you're painting behind whatever image is on the layer already, even though you're painting on the exact same layer.

Clear: (brush tool-options-clear)The Clear paint mode, also not found in the Layer blend modes, essentially turns your brush into an eraser, clearing away any pixels you paint over. The Clear option is only available on layers other than the Background layer, since erasing pixels from the Background layer would create transparent areas and Photoshop doesn't allow transparency on Background layers.
